Bridge
Unloader
Single and double girder bridge unloaders built for continuous bulk material handling. Engineered for duty classes A6 through A8 with VVVF controls and capacities up to 40 MT.
Continuous-duty
bridge unloaders for
heavy bulk handling.
The Fluidline bridge unloader is a purpose-built overhead bulk material handler, designed for the continuous, high-cycle demands of sugar mills, steel plants, port terminals and coal handling yards. Each unit is engineered against the specific application — span, capacity, lift height, cycle rate and attachment type are all determined by the customer's process requirements, not by a catalogue selection.
Available in single girder and double girder configurations, bridge unloaders from Fluidline are rated to duty classes A6 through A8, meaning they are built to run thousands of cycles per day without degradation in performance. VVVF (Variable Voltage Variable Frequency) drives are standard, delivering smooth acceleration and deceleration that reduces shock on the structure, extends gearbox life and gives operators precise control over load placement.
Fluidline engineers the complete unit in-house: structural design and fabrication, machining of wheel assemblies and end carriages, electrical panel assembly, and final load testing to 125% of rated capacity before dispatch. Grabs and hooks are matched to the unloader at the design stage so that the system operates as a single integrated unit rather than an assembly of unrelated components.
Built around the drum.

VVVF Drive Control
Variable frequency drives on all motions eliminate mechanical shock, reduce wear and give operators fine-grain speed control — critical when placing grabs over loaded trucks.
A6–A8 Duty Rating
Structural and mechanical components are sized for the highest duty classes, ensuring reliable performance over thousands of daily cycles without fatigue-driven failure.
In-house Fabrication
Girders, end carriages and wheel assemblies are all manufactured at the Kundli facility under our ISO 9001:2015 quality system with full material traceability.
Grab Integration
Designed to work with Fluidline cane unloading grabs, orange-peel and clamshell grabs — hydraulic system and structural ratings are matched at the design stage.
Load-tested to 125%
Every bridge unloader undergoes a full static and dynamic load test at 125% of rated capacity before dispatch, with test certificates issued for every unit.
Pendant & Cabin Options
Available with push-button pendant control or fully enclosed operator cabin with ergonomic seat, AC and master controller — configured to the duty and site requirements.
Single and double
girder variants.
Single Girder Bridge Unloader
Capacities up to 20 MT, spans to 24 m. Economical construction for medium-duty applications where headroom is constrained. Wire rope hoist mounted on lower flange of single girder.
Double Girder Bridge Unloader
Capacities up to 40 MT, spans to 30 m, duty A6–A8. Crab-mounted hoist travels on top of both girders. Walkway and maintenance platform standard. Preferred for heavy bulk terminals.
Grab-equipped Unloader
Bridge unloader paired with a matched hydraulic grab — cane unloading, orange-peel or clamshell depending on material. Hydraulic power pack integrated into the crab structure.
Hook & Magnet Configuration
Standard hook block for general lifting, or electro-magnetic lifting beam for steel scrap and semi-finished stock handling. Rated to same duty class as the base structure.
Industries and
use cases.
Why specify
Fluidline.
Application Engineering
Every bridge unloader is sized to the specific duty: span, capacity, height of lift, cycle rate and attachment type are engineered together, not selected from a catalogue.
In-house Manufacturing
Fabrication, machining, electrical assembly and testing all happen under one roof at Kundli. No outsourced critical components — quality is fully within our control.
Lifetime Support
Spares, field service and technical support are available for the operational life of the equipment. We keep records of every unit we ship and know its specification.
