Orange peel
grab manufacturer
India.
Multi-tine hydraulic grabs engineered for scrap handling, demolition material and irregular bulk loads. Fabricated in Hardox 400/500 with integral hydraulic rotator. Available in 4-tine, 5-tine and 6-tine configurations from 0.5 to 10 m³ capacity.
Built for
scrap, demolition
& irregular bulk loads.
The orange peel grab is the standard tool for handling steel scrap, demolition debris, slag and other irregular bulk materials where a clamshell cannot achieve sufficient penetration or retention. The multi-tine geometry wraps around irregular material and holds it securely through the crane cycle, reducing spillage and maximising each lift.
Fluidline orange peel grabs are designed in-house and fabricated entirely at our Kundli facility. Tines are manufactured from Hardox 400 or 500 wear-resistant steel for long service life in abrasive and high-impact applications. The hydraulic cylinder and rotator assembly is sized to the grab capacity to ensure consistent opening and closing force throughout the working range of the tines.
Every grab is supplied complete with the hydraulic rotator, swivel joint and hose set, and tested on our hydraulic rig before dispatch. We offer custom capacity, tine geometry and crane interface to match your specific crane and application requirements.

Engineered for
demanding scrap
handling cycles.
Hardox Tines
Tines fabricated from Hardox 400 or 500 plate for superior wear resistance and impact toughness. Field-repairable — damaged sections can be replaced without scrapping the tine assembly.
Hydraulic Rotator
Integral 360° continuous hydraulic rotator allows the operator to orient the grab precisely over the pile without repositioning the crane, improving cycle efficiency and reducing operator fatigue.
Suspended Cylinder Design
The double-acting hydraulic cylinder is mounted in the protected suspended position above the grab body, keeping it clear of material impact and simplifying maintenance access.
Custom Capacity
Capacity is engineered to your crane's safe working load, leaving adequate margin for the grab's own weight. Custom tine geometry and opening radius available for specific material profiles.
Complete Hose Set
High-pressure hose set, swivel joint and all connection hardware supplied as part of the grab package. Eliminates site fabrication and ensures correct pressure ratings throughout.
Pressure Tested
Every grab is hydraulic pressure tested at 1.5× working pressure and functionally cycled on our test rig before dispatch. Test certificate supplied with every unit.
4-tine, 5-tine
& 6-tine
variants.
4-Tine Grab
Ideal for heavy, dense scrap and large demolition pieces. Wider tine spacing allows better penetration into compacted scrap piles. Suits capacities from 1.5 m³ to 10 m³ with heavier crane duties.
Request specification5-Tine Grab
Balanced configuration for mixed scrap applications with varying piece sizes. Good retention across a wide material range. Most commonly specified for general scrap yards and recycling operations.
Request specification6-Tine Grab
Closer tine spacing for smaller-piece and mixed material where retention is the priority. Suited to lighter scrap, shredded material and mixed waste handling. Typically specified in the 0.5 m³ to 4 m³ range.

Orange peel grabs are the preferred handling solution wherever the material is irregular, abrasive or mixed. Key industry applications include:
Why engineers
specify Fluidline grabs.
In-House Fabrication
Every grab is designed and fabricated at our Kundli facility. No outsourcing of critical weld joints or structural components. Quality is our direct responsibility from plate to dispatch.
Application Engineering
We size the grab to your crane capacity, material density and throughput requirement — not to the nearest catalogue size. The result is a grab that performs as specified, not as estimated.
Lifetime Support
Spare tines, cylinder seals and wear parts are stocked for every grab we manufacture. Our service team can support field repairs and annual maintenance inspections across India.
