Hydraulic valves govern every function in a fluid power circuit — direction, pressure, flow and check. Selecting the wrong valve, or specifying to a generic catalogue rather than the actual system requirements, is the most common root cause of hydraulic system reliability failures we see in the field.

Because Fluidline designs and builds complete hydraulic systems — power packs, cylinders, unloaders, cranes — we source and supply valves with genuine application knowledge. We know which Parker proportional valve suits a load-sensing circuit, which Eaton directional valve handles the cycle frequency in a sugar mill drive, and which Vickers pressure relief setting protects a crane hoist. That knowledge is what we bring to every valve enquiry.

We supply directional control valves, pressure control valves, flow control valves and check valves from Parker, Eaton (formerly Vickers), Danfoss and Vickers-branded legacy stock. We also supply complete pre-assembled manifold blocks to customer schematics, machined and tested in our Kundli facility.

Common
questions.

Which brand do you recommend for high-cycle directional valves?
For high-cycle directional valve applications — typically above 1 million cycles per year — we recommend Parker or Eaton solenoid valves, which are rated for continuous duty and carry long MTBF data. For very high-speed cycle applications with proportional control, Parker proportional directional valves with integrated electronics offer the best combination of reliability and response time. We will specify the exact model once we know your flow rate, pressure rating, and cycle frequency.
Can you supply pre-assembled hydraulic manifolds?
Yes. We supply manifold blocks with valves pre-assembled and leak-tested. Manifolds can be designed to customer schematics, machined in-house at our Kundli facility, and supplied with all required valves, fittings and test certificates. This significantly reduces site assembly time and the risk of incorrect component fitment.
Do you hold stock, and what is the typical lead time?
We hold stock of the most commonly specified directional, pressure and flow control valves from Parker, Eaton and Vickers in standard NG6 and NG10 sizes. Stock items typically ship within 2–5 working days. Non-stock items and proportional valves are sourced to order with lead times of 2–4 weeks. Call our sales team for specific model availability.
What is the difference between proportional and on/off solenoid valves?
On/off solenoid valves operate in two states — fully open or fully closed — and are the right choice for simple switching operations. Proportional valves modulate the spool position in proportion to the control signal (typically 0–10 V or 4–20 mA), allowing variable flow and pressure control in a single valve. Proportional valves cost more and require compatible electronics, but are essential for applications requiring smooth acceleration, variable speed control or closed-loop positioning.
Can you supply spare valves and coils for legacy Vickers installations?
Yes. Fluidline maintains access to Vickers (now Eaton) spares including replacement coils, seal kits, and complete valve assemblies for many legacy models. Where OEM spares are unavailable, we can often identify a compatible modern equivalent from the Eaton or Parker range. Share your valve model number and we will advise on availability and cross-reference options.
What mounting standards do your valves use?
We supply valves in the standard D03 (NG6), D05 (NG10) and D07 (NG16) cetop mounting patterns, which are interchangeable between Parker, Eaton and Danfoss ranges for the same body size. We also supply in-line and cartridge valve configurations. Manifold porting is designed to your schematic.
