01 · Overview

The right fitting
for every thread
& connection type.

Hydraulic end fittings are where most hydraulic leaks originate. Wrong thread standard, mismatched connection face, incorrect crimp specification or the wrong material for the environment — any one of these is enough to cause a failure in service. Getting fittings right requires knowing the thread standard on both ends of the connection, the connection face type, the pressure rating and the fluid compatibility.

Fluidline stocks a comprehensive range of hydraulic end fittings covering BSP parallel and taper, NPT, metric DIN 24° cone (L and S series), JIC 37° flare and ORFS (O-ring face seal) connection types. Both crimp and reusable configurations are stocked. Carbon steel zinc-plated fittings cover the majority of industrial applications; stainless steel 316 fittings are available for corrosive, marine and food-grade environments.

Where a fitting you need is not in stock, our CNC machining facility allows us to manufacture custom adapters, reducers and special configurations to a sample or drawing. This capability is particularly useful for maintaining older equipment where original fittings are no longer available from the original equipment manufacturer.

03 · Key Features

Stocked across
every thread standard
and face type.

Feature 01

Broad Thread Range

BSP, NPT and metric DIN threads stocked across male and female configurations. Covers the vast majority of hydraulic equipment in Indian industry regardless of origin — Indian, European, American or Japanese.

Feature 02

ORFS Zero-Leak Fittings

O-ring face seal fittings eliminate thread-sealing variability in high-pressure circuits. Recommended for critical connections above 250 bar and anywhere vibration is a factor. Full range in BSP and metric thread bodies.

Feature 03

Stainless Steel 316

316 stainless fittings for marine, coastal, chemical plant and food-grade applications where zinc-plated carbon steel would corrode. Full range in common BSP and metric sizes. Custom configurations machined to order.

Feature 04

Crimp & Reusable

Crimp fittings for production assemblies and high-pressure applications where reliability is paramount. Reusable fittings for field repair, low-pressure applications and situations where a crimping machine is not available on site.

Feature 05

Custom CNC Specials

Non-standard adapters, reducers, tee pieces and manifold blocks machined to your drawing or sample. Typical lead time 2 to 5 working days. Particularly useful for obsolete equipment and OEM-specific connections.

Feature 06

Thread Identification

Not sure what thread you have? Bring a sample fitting to our counter and we will identify the standard, size and connection type and match it from stock or arrange manufacture if required.

06 · Why Fluidline

Why engineers
source fittings
from Fluidline.

Reason 01

Thread Identification Support

We help customers identify unknown thread standards from a sample or description. Getting the thread standard right before ordering avoids the most common and costly fitting mistake in hydraulic maintenance.

Reason 02

Custom Machined Specials

Our CNC machining facility manufactures custom fittings, adapters and manifold blocks to a drawing or sample. Essential for maintaining equipment where standard fittings are no longer available. Typical lead time 2 to 5 days.

Reason 03

OEM Volume Agreements

Scheduled supply agreements for production line customers with volume pricing, consistent specifications and batch traceability. We are an established supplier to OEM hydraulic equipment manufacturers across North India.

07 · FAQ

Frequently
asked questions.

BSP vs NPT vs metric — which thread standard do I need?
BSP (British Standard Pipe) is the dominant standard in Indian industry and most imported European equipment. NPT (National Pipe Taper) is used on American-origin equipment and some older machinery. Metric DIN fittings are common on German and Japanese equipment. If you are unsure, the easiest way to identify the thread is to count threads per inch on a thread gauge, or bring a fitting sample to our counter and we will identify it for you.
What is the difference between crimp and reusable fittings?
Crimp fittings are permanently swaged onto the hose using a hydraulic crimping machine. They are the standard for production assemblies and high-pressure applications — once crimped correctly they are more reliable than reusable fittings and less sensitive to assembly error. Reusable fittings screw onto the hose end and can be transferred to a new hose when the old one fails — useful for site repairs where a crimping machine is not available and for low-pressure applications.
Do you supply test certificates for hydraulic fittings?
Yes. Material test certificates and dimensional conformance records are available for all fittings in our range. For quality-critical applications in process, power and defence sectors, we can provide third-party certified fittings with full batch traceability. Please specify your certification requirement at order stage.
Stainless steel vs zinc-plated carbon steel — which should I specify?
Zinc-plated carbon steel fittings are the standard for indoor industrial hydraulic applications with petroleum-based fluids — they provide adequate corrosion resistance at the lowest cost. Stainless steel 316 fittings are specified where the fitting is exposed to moisture, salt spray, aggressive chemicals or food-grade environments. They cost significantly more but last many times longer in corrosive conditions. For offshore, marine, coastal and chemical plant applications, stainless is always the right choice.
Do you offer bulk pricing for OEM volumes?
Yes. We supply on scheduled delivery agreements to OEM customers with volume pricing, consistent specifications and batch traceability. Contact our sales team with your annual volume estimate and the specific fittings you need — we will provide a structured pricing proposal and can discuss Kanban-style replenishment for production line supply.
What connection face types do you stock?
We stock fittings in BSP parallel and taper, NPT, metric DIN 24° cone (L and S series), JIC 37° flare and ORFS (O-ring face seal) connection types. ORFS fittings are particularly recommended for high-pressure circuits where zero-leak performance is required — the face seal eliminates the thread-sealing variable that causes problems with tapered threads in high-vibration environments.
