01 · Overview

The right hose
for every
pressure range.

Hydraulic hose selection is a critical engineering decision. An under-rated hose in a high-pressure circuit is a safety hazard. An over-specified hose adds unnecessary cost and weight. Getting it right requires knowledge of system pressure (including spike conditions), fluid type, temperature, bend radius and the fitting connection standard — and that is exactly the knowledge we bring when we help customers specify assemblies.

Fluidline stocks a comprehensive range of hydraulic hose from 1/4" to 2" in 1SN, 2SN, 4SP and 4SH constructions, covering working pressures from 35 bar for low-pressure return lines up to 420 bar for high-pressure circuits on heavy equipment. All hose is sourced from approved manufacturers with material certificates available on request.

We supply cut-to-length hose, bare ends for field fitting, and complete crimped assemblies with your choice of end fittings. Standard assemblies are crimped at our facility and available for same-day collection or next-day dispatch. Our engineering team is available to help specify the correct hose and fitting combination for your application.

03 · Key Features

Stocked, crimped
& ready to ship.

Feature 01

Full Size Range

1/4" to 2" bore in all major construction types kept in stock. No waiting for procurement on standard sizes — most assemblies can be cut, fitted and crimped within the day.

Feature 02

On-Site Crimping

Our Kundli facility is equipped with hydraulic crimping machines capable of handling all hose sizes up to 2". Assemblies are crimped to manufacturer-specified dimensions and visually inspected before supply.

Feature 03

Application Engineering

Not sure which hose type or pressure rating suits your system? Our engineering team will specify the correct hose construction, size and end fitting based on your system pressure, fluid and routing requirements.

Feature 04

Matched End Fittings

End fittings are sourced to match the hose manufacturer's crimp specification. Mixing hose and fittings from unmatched sources is a common cause of assembly failure — we always supply matched combinations.

Feature 05

Material Certificates

Hose material test certificates and batch traceability records are maintained and available on request. Required for quality-critical applications in process, power and defence sectors.

Feature 06

OEM Volume Supply

We supply hose assemblies to OEM customers on scheduled delivery agreements. Consistent batch traceability, fixed specifications and reliable lead times for production line supply.

05 · Applications

Industries we
supply hose
assemblies to.

Hydraulic hose is required wherever a fixed pipe circuit needs a flexible connection — at actuator interfaces, rotating joints and service points. Our hose supply covers:

EOT Cranes Hydraulic Grabs Hydraulic Unloaders Press & Forge Sugar Mills Steel Plants Mobile Equipment Power Packs Machine Tools Ports & Marine OEM Production Lines
06 · Why Fluidline

Why engineers
source hose from
Fluidline.

Reason 01

Specification Support

We do not just sell hose — we help you specify it correctly. System pressure, fluid type, temperature and routing all affect the right choice. Our engineering knowledge means fewer callbacks for wrong specifications.

Reason 02

Same-Day Assemblies

For urgent breakdowns and maintenance requirements, we stock the most commonly needed sizes and can crimp standard assemblies the same day. For planned maintenance, we supply batch-traceable assemblies on scheduled delivery.

Reason 03

Matched Hose & Fittings

Every assembly uses matched hose and fittings from the same approved supply chain. We do not mix brands — the crimped assembly performs to the rated specification because every component in it is correct.

07 · FAQ

Frequently
asked questions.

What pressure rating do I need for my hydraulic system?
Hose selection should be based on the maximum system pressure including pressure spikes, not the nominal working pressure. As a guide: for systems up to 160 bar, 1SN (SAE 100R1) single-wire braid is typically adequate. For 160 to 250 bar, 2SN (SAE 100R2) double-wire braid is the standard choice. For systems above 250 bar up to 420 bar, four-wire spiral hose (4SP or 4SH) is required. Always allow a safety factor — the hose burst pressure should be at least 4× the working pressure.
Can you crimp hose assemblies on site or at short notice?
We crimp hose assemblies at our Kundli facility and can turn around standard assemblies on the same day for urgent requirements. For site crimping, we can discuss mobilisation for larger contracts. We stock a wide range of hose and end fittings so most standard assemblies can be made without waiting for materials.
What is your lead time for custom hose assemblies?
Standard hose assemblies in common sizes and pressure ratings are typically ready within 24 to 48 hours of order. Custom lengths, special end fittings or non-standard hose types may take 3 to 5 working days. For large-volume OEM supply, we agree a production schedule at order placement.
What is the temperature operating range for your hydraulic hose?
Our standard hydraulic hose range is rated for continuous operation from −40 °C to +100 °C. The inner tube is synthetic rubber compatible with petroleum-based hydraulic fluids, water-glycol and most fire-resistant fluids. For higher temperature applications or compatibility with specific fluids, we can specify hose with PTFE or thermoplastic inner tubes — contact us with your fluid and temperature requirements.
Do you stock obsolete or non-standard fittings?
We maintain a wide fitting inventory covering BSP, NPT, metric DIN and JIC thread standards in both male and female configurations. For non-standard or obsolete fittings, our CNC machining capability allows us to manufacture replacement fittings to a sample or drawing. Contact us with details of the fitting you need and we will advise on availability or lead time for manufacture.
What hose standards do you supply to?
We supply hose to SAE 100 R1, R2, R12, R13 and R15 standards, as well as EN 853 (1SN/2SN) and EN 856 (4SP/4SH) European equivalents. All hose is sourced from approved manufacturers with valid test certificates. We can provide material certificates and hose test data on request for quality-critical applications.
